Swimming finishes top three at UAA championships

Men finished second out of eight with a score of 1533.5, 161 away from champion Emory. Women finished third out of eight with a final score of 1060, placing just behind Emory and New York University.

Men’s basketball defeats NYU, Chicago in UAA play

The team has competed in four UAA games over the past two weeks and finished with a 2–2 record, with wins over NYU and Chicago. The Tartans are now 18–6 overall and 8–5 in UAA play.

Men’s tennis finishes the weekend undefeated

Carnegie Mellon men’s tennis picked up three victories 9–0 over Robert Morris University, 7–2 over West Virginia Wesleyan College, and 9–0 over Case Western Reserve University.

Track, field perform well at Bucknell Invitational, Kent State meet

The Carnegie Mellon track and field teams participated in the indoor Bucknell Winter Classic two weekends ago and competed in the unscored Kent State Tune-up indoor track meet last Saturday.

Women’s tennis records two shutouts

The Tartans used momentum from their three shutouts two weekends ago and barreled over their opponents, once again not losing a single set to either school en-route to two shutout victories.

Women’s basketball falls in four games

After a doubleheader on the road, the women’s basketball team dropped two decisions to their hosts, falling 78–58 to Washington University in St. Louis and 76–48 to the University of Chicago.
